Job Description: This is a commissioned sales position. Responsible for Influencing and advocating Intel based products and solutions for all of Intel's Business units through a vertically oriented, solutions led approach to Business and IT. The Industry Technical Specialist is the technical counterpart to the Account Executive and is responsible for ensuring that all technical and architectural needs of our covered accounts are understood and that we are working with the customer, our business units teams and our partners to develop technically advanced solutions that help solve our customer business problem and that create significant pull for Intel's products and solutions.

Job Description: Industry Partner Solution Government ITS 

This is an Industry Technical Specialist position who works with System Integrators (SIs), Solution Providers (SPs) and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to scale Intel’s business. He or she is the technical owner and supports SPMs to driver IA based solution wins across vertical SI/SP/ISVs in China. 

In this Commissioned technical sales lead role, you will be responsible for advising and influencing Intel’s partners (SIs, SPs, and ISVs) with Intel technologies and products. Additionally, you will be responsible for understanding the business use case and technical merits of a solution, and influence the partner’s solution roadmap and decision. 

The ideal candidate must possess a deep knowledge of cloud and data center technologies, Intel server products, industry server platforms, ingredients within the platforms (memory, IO, storage, networking), and their relationship to cloud solutions for partner usage and benefit. Ability to apply ‘solution selling’ methodology to optimize available resources for achieving sales goals including a solid understanding of the ecosystem. Ability to support experienced SPMs, including skills in identifying and coordinating the right technical resources. Able to clearly formulate points of view on market direction, emerging technologies and their application in solving business challenges, and ability to influence partners strategically. 

Daily activities will include providing direct technical assistance to SPMs and partners, interfacing with Sr. technical decision makers and representing partner market segment requirements back into the business unit for future product planning. 


Qualifications include: 

Excellent written and verbal communications skills in Chinese and English 

Technical educational degree and minimum 8 years of technical solution sales in IT industry 

Solid understanding of key HW and SW trends within data centers related to Virtualization/Software-Defined Data Center, Big Data Analytics, Database, Application Middleware, IOT, Storage and Networking trends as well as key security trends. 

Experienced on specifying Compute, Storage, and Network hardware platforms based upon workload dimensioning, sizing and performance characterization. 

Excellent understanding on software, software eco-system, solution architecture and industry solutions as well as information & computing technologies 

Self-motivated, innovative and with strong teamwork spirit and working ethics 

Skill of work in matrix organization and align stakeholders on project basis 

Ability of dealing with complex issues where needs analysis of situations and in-depth knowledge of IT industry. 

Be able to interpreter customer‘s needs to technical requirements and spec. 

Possess in-depth understanding of Intel processor/platform technologies and vertical solutions
