Web Runtime Software Engineer

Descriptions:
Intel is accelerating the development and deployment of the Web applications running on top of Intel silicon from data center to Internet of Things (IoT) devices. As the cross-platform technology and natural bridge between client and server, web runtime is one of the critical components to make it happen. You might use web browser every day, while do you wonder how it works and what are those technologies to make it runs faster, slimmer and more efficient step by step? In this position, inside Intel Software and Service Group, your primary responsibility is to work together with team members and contribute to cutting edge technologies inside web browser, bringing Intel platform leadership and fostering web technology evolvement in industrial community. Qualification:
- You must either possess a Bachelor/Master/PhD degree in Computer Science, or proven record of your knowledge/experience in Computing Science
- Deep understanding of Linux software stack and strong skills of C/C++ are required. Experience of software stack and project experience on IoT area is a plus.
- Familiar with debugging and profiling tools in Linux, and have solid skills in software debugging. Experience of performance tuning and optimization is a super plus.
- Familiar with computer architecture. Experience of compiler related development is a super plus.
- Experience in web engine or components like Chromium, WebKit and V8 etc. is a super plus. Experience in HTML5/JavaScript web programming is a plus as well.
- Experience in domain of graphics or media processing is a super plus. Experience in performance analysis is a plus as well.
- Strong data processing and analytical skills, and have good perception and anticipation.
- A trustable team player, with excellent communication skills (in both English and Mandarin) and demonstrated ability to communicate at various levels of abstraction (concept to details).
