5G Protocol Stack Developer

Location: Shanghai

Responsibilities

―Participating in advanced 5G algorithms design and simulations

―Developing virtualized wireless network framework prototypes & reference designs based on Intel Architecture using C/C++ on Linux

―Actively discussing with Telecom Equipment Manufacturers and Telecom Operators to gather their views on next generation wireless network framework

―Actively participating in all stages of software development life-cycle (e.g. requirements definition, research, validation, post-release support activities, etc.)

―Thoughtfully working with architects and other software developers to resolve technical issues

Qualifications

―Master degree or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical background/education

―Proficient C/C++ & Linux software development

―Ability to work independently and in a team-work environment

―Strong problem solving capability self-motivated

―Good at both written and oral English Additional qualifications a plus or is willing to learn:

―Familiar with OS kernel/principle, Linux is preferred.

―Familiar with 5G wireless network technologies

―Experiences on or familiar with cellular protocol stack development

―Strong wireless algorithm research, simulation is a plus
