Wireless Platform System Software Engineer

Location: Beijing & Shanghai

Responsibilities:

-  Developing virtualized wireless network framework prototypes & reference designs based on Intel Architecture using C/C++ on Linux

-   Developing prototypes to showcase content aware services at wireless network edge based on VT

-   Capable to debug and optimize the performance for VT scenario.

-   Actively discussing with Telecom Equipment Manufacturers and Telecom Operators to gather their views on next generation wireless network framework

-   Actively participating in all stages of software development life-cycle (e.g. requirements definition, research, validation, post-release support activities, etc.)

-   Thoughtfully working with architects and other software developers to resolve technical issues

Qualifications:

-   Master degree or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical background/education

-   Proficient C/C++ & Linux

-   Virtualization technologies; Software optimization capabilities.

-   Familiar with actual base station software architecture and implementation

-   Positive, aggressive and wants to learn, have good team work.

-   Additional qualifications a plus or is willing to learn:

・ Familiar with OS kernel/principle, Linux is preferred.

・ Experience of NFV and SDN

・ Familiar with Intel virtualization technologies, e.g. VT-x, VT-d, etc.

・ Familiar in QEMU/KVM usage

・ Familiar with wireless network protocols, especially LTE upper layer wireless stacks
